Berry Yogurt Cones!!!

Hello! I got this recipe from my friends and have used it many times since!
I made Berry Yogurt Cones for desert that are quick, easy, cheap, and healthy. Plus you can change it up any way you want with different flavors of yogurt or berries! It literally takes 3 minutes to put everything together and it's a great alternative to ice cream.

Taste: It tastes pretty good! It's just like eating a parfait inside a cone.

Prep: Super simple! Just take a gluten free sugar cone, put your choice of non-fat milk yogurt into the cone, top it with berries-i did raspberries and blackberries because they are delicious, and to add more flavor I dropped a little granola on top.
All the ingredients under $8!!

Specific Nutritional Value: This desert has low fat and high protein along with fruit and granola. I found the nutrients value for one serving (one cone).

Important Nutrients.
This recipe has low calories and fats, high calcium, and high fiber/proteins. It can be a good thing to get lots of calcium, fiber, and proteins in your diet because it helps keep your muscles and bones strong. However, to much can also cause stress on your kidneys and dehydration so we have to be careful. Also, by balancing equal amounts of calcium and protein can help keep your body stable.

Negatives.
Some negative things from this recipe would be high sugar and high sodium. As Americans, sodium is already extremely high in our diets and causes so many things like high blood pressure along with heart disease, colon cancer, increase risks of stroke, etc. so by being aware of what we eat and trying to limit how much sodium we take in a day can be helpful.

Since this recipe has high sugar which can increase risk for diabetes and heart disease. Although, there are good sugars like fruit, you can never be to careful so by watching you diet it can really help you.

There also isn't a lot of fat in this recipe which is a good and bad thing because healthy fats like avocados, give you so much with the oils in it and can help your metabolism but is beneficial for your skin to. I would suggest getting your fats from a good dinner or lunch that day if you have this for desert!!

There aren't a lot of vitamins specifically that i calculated in this recipe but there is a lot of calcium which can be good.

What else to eat.
Because this recipe is has high protein and fiber i would try to stay away from a heavy dinner with high sodium and sugar. I would suggest a lighter dinner like a soup with bread to balance out all the food groups. Or even pasta, a salad, or something with vegetables would be beneficial.
